JEE Main Session 3 conducted in Odisha successfully, 19,954 appear for exam

Session 3 of JEE Main 2021, postponed several times due to Corona epidemic, started from July 20 across the country. Around 7,09,519 students took part in the JEE Main 2021 Session-3 examination across the country. Odisha saw 19,954 students appearing for the all-India engineering entrance exam.

During this, in view of the Covid-19 rules, a lot of arrangements were seen at the examination centres in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha.

Steps taken by Odisha for successfully conducting JEE Main 2021 Session 3

According to the information, following the Covid rules, 18 city coordinators and 26 observers were appointed in Odisha to make the examination successful.

Along with this, students took the exam at 35 examination centres in 19 cities of the state.

Due to proper transport facilities in the capital of Bhubaneswar, it had 6 exam centres, which was the maximum.

Along with those, there were 1 in Angul, 1 in Balangir, 2 in Balasore, 2 in Baripada, 3 in Ganjam, 2 in Bhadrak, 1 in Bhawanipatna, 3 in Cuttack, 2 in Dhenkanal, 1 in Jagatsingpur, 1 in Jajpur, 1 in Jeypore

The examination was conducted at 1 examination centre in Kendrapara, 1 in Puri, 1 in Raigarh, 2 in Rourkela and 3 in Sambalpur.

What JEE candidates had to say

Suman Sourav, standing in a queue to take the exam at a JEE exam centre in Bhubaneswar, said that the exam date has been postponed several times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

However, due to the decline in the cases of corona cases, the examination has been started again from July 20.

“I have come to Bhubaneshwar today to take the exam,” said Sourav.

Candidates were allowed to enter the examination centre from 7:30 am to 8 am with face-masks. They were made to stand in long queues at the examination centre, while maintaining social distancing.

Along with this, every student going inside from the entry gate was sanitized. This was a good initiative against Covid-19 at the examination centre.

JEE Main 2021 in four phases

Keeping in mind the corona infection, it has been decided to complete the Session 3 exam of JEE (Main)-2021 across the country in four phases.

The first JEE examination was held on July 20, the second on July 22, the third examination on July 25, and the fourth and last examination on July 27.
